Just an idea I was trying out to use the Larue tactical 606 offset weapon light mount on a handgun. I mounted it on my M&P9 and it seems to work well. The advantages are you can have an assortment of lights to chose from so you can use your existing light probably and you can use the mount on you AR15 style weapon or whatever you have. It's quick release so you can take it off of the handgun and use it as a flashlight for normal use too.
Doesn't add significant weight to the handgun and is well balanced.
